After our Boise adventure, we were able to spend about 5 days in Grant with Grandma and Grandpa Randall. Bekah, Johnny, and Matt were able to come and see us too.

Bekah and I tried so hard to get them to smile...together. Oh well, we tried
I think that Johnny finally gave up...
Bennett loves to pet Scar...

but was a little nervous about riding him :) We'll get him yet.
We were able to see the calves and Bennett did like that.
Thanks for the fun time in Idaho!
TIME WITH GRANDPA AND DADDY
and really that's all I have to say about this, the rest is self explanatory

Look at that sad face :(
OUR SUMMER ADVENTURE

It started out with a quick packing job from Logan and a 5 hour drive to Boise (that turned into a 6 plus hour drive). We were so glad we were able to go and spend time with the family in the Boise area.

We were able to attend the Burnett shin-dig that included Lucy's baby blessing and Sariah's baptism (yes in one day). We were able to see Ben play a wicked game of soccer...he scored so many points. And were able to attend church with Luke and his family. Thanks again guys for letting us come and stay.

This is my funny story of the trip...I was changing Quinn's explosive diaper when Ben came into the room and asked what I was doing. I told him Quinn had a poopy diaper and it needed to be changed. He asked, "does she poop big?" and in my mind I thought he meant does she poop a large amount. So I told Ben that normally she doesn't, but this time she did. He looked confused so I showed him. I know gross, but the only way for me to explain was to show him. He looked at me again and I thought he was going to tell me that was gross (after all it was a messy diaper) when he said, "that's nothing. When I poop, it's like this big" holding up his hands to show me how large he can poop. I was laughing so hard. I told him, "Wow that is really big." Ben, that memory months later still makes me laugh at night. Jesse will ask me what is so funny and all I have do is hold up my hands and say "that's nothing. When I poop it's like this big" and Jesse and I will be rolling around laughing. I think that story will be funny to me in 5o years. Thanks Ben for the memories.

Apparently Bennett doesn't want a bath. There is also a picture of Bennett trying to escape, but I wanted to keep this blog "G" rated.

Ben is the one doing the "thumbs up" sign.

Beautiful Baby Q
BABY DAYS WITH AMBER AND CLAY

Baby Days was a blast this year. Bennett and Clay ran and played while Amber and I chased after them, occasionally getting a chance to talk.

The middle kid is Bennett's best bud Clay.

He LOVED the piglets
Look at this funny face that Clay is making. It is a typical funny face of Clay's!
I love this photo!!
All Bennett wanted was a balloon and to ride the train! We had so much fun on the train!
Hooray for the train.
So there was a surprise at the farm. Three grizzly bear cubs. That was so fun to see (I think more for the adults because the boys couldn't hold them).
Thanks Amber and Clay for going to the baby farm with us! We love hanging out and playing with you.
Quinn was sleeping in our room in Bennett's old Pack 'n Play and Bennett was a little curious/jealous of this new gal in our lives. Sure in the beginning he thought geeze she's fun, but when we brought Quinn home, he acted like, "hey what is she doing here?" One day I heard silence, a mother's worse worry when you have children because you know they are up to no good, and I walk into my room where Quinn was sleeping and this is what I find...

Yes Quinn is in there too. So I gave a holler...it gave me a freight thinking of all the horrible things that would have happened and Bennett turned to see me and...
Yes that is her binki in his mouth. Quinn is fine...

Yes these are pictures of Bennett's rear end, but these are pictures of Bennett learning to do a somersault.

I wanted to post more pictures of my beautiful princess.
I tried so hard to rotate these pictures and they wouldn't, so sorry.

I remember the first thing that I saw when Quinn came out was her feet and I thought, "Holy cow this girl has long feet." Now they don't seem that long :)

The people I love the most are right here in this picture. I love this picture. This is Bennett's first time seeing Quinn and still he wants to "hold it."

When she was born, she had to be tested because I had an infected uterus. They tried to get her blood tested in her feet and arms, but blood wouldn't come and so they put the needle in her head and even then it was such a slow drip. Luckily nothing was wrong. Side note, she did have to get her tongue clipped just like her daddy did when he was a baby.

Before Quinn was born, we had a fun weekend with Matt, Bekah, and Johnny who came to Logan to visit us. What a fun time we had! Thanks for coming guys. These are pictures of us at the Hardware Ranch in Logan where we went on a sleigh ride to see all of the elk.

Picture of Johnny and Bennett giving some love.
