Bennett's Best Budd...CLAY

Swimming

We were also lucky to see Bennett's great-grandnana. How Bennett loves his Gabby-Nana

Aunt MacKayla took us swimming at the coolest pool I have ever seen. It was HUGE. It had many play pool parks for the little ones, a swimming area, a whirl pool, a kiddy pool, a maze of water, and a super-fun slide! Thanks aunt MacKayla,

I don't know if any of you realize the size of the Randall family. It starts with Nyle and JoAnn and they had 10 kids (Jesse being the 9th of the 10). When I joined the family, I was number 55. This year alone in 2008 Bennett was one of 8 babies born. The Randalls are now in the 60's of their family size. Way to go. Nyle says it's "good breeding." Needless to say, Nyle and JoAnn were serving the Lord while the baby boom happened. It was an extra special Christmas this year.

CHRISTMAS!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Randalls. Nyle and JoAnn returned home from their mission a week before Christmas, then came Christmas and the big family get together (more pictures to come) and then their homecomming! What a busy week for them. It is now January and I don't know if they have spent 2 days in a row at their home by themselves. They have been traveling quite a bit since they have returned.

The family, Scruffy too on Christmas morning. Bennett with 3 of his cousins, Johnny, Jayda and Ty.

Matt and Jesse build a snow man, and the red is the two headed snowman's sweater.

Bennett and I get ready to play in the snow. We went sledding!

Tricks and Birthday

Jesse and Bennett practice their tricks. That another one that is a Randall tradition where Bennett will stand on Jesse's hands and balance. They have been doing tricks since Bennett could support his head.

Jesse turned 25 on December 14, 2008. He made his very own cake. German chocolate (from scratch) with coconut frosting.

Silly Pictures

Sometimes dad dresses Bennett.

Jesse was so excited to show me that he has had these pants since his mission!

So these are his hot pants!!

Catch-Up

Picking Pumpkins at the Patch. I love this shirt that Bennett is wearing...he's going to be a great cowboy!

Well I looked at my blog and noticed the last time I updated my bog was last fall, my one and only entree. It looks as though it is time for a new update! First was Halloween. Jesse and I had a few people over to carve pumpkins. A shout out for Robert (from Netherlands) and Sverker (Sweden?) who carved their first pumpkins.

Ashley as a black widow, Bennett as a cow and Jesse as a referee. We decided that Bennett was grazing in this last picture. What great carpet!

Halloween came and went with the ward trunk or treat. We tried many costumes, but Bennett's head wouldn't fit some costumes (the monkey) and so Bennett was the cow. Thanks Becky for the costumes...next year he'll look great as a chicken!

During the Fall we would go to the football and basketball games at USU. Bennett hated the noise and would cry and cry when a score was made. (luckily didn't have to worry much about that with the football games :)). We were luck to find these "noise blockers" for his ears! Bennett loved them and would laugh and hit his ears and laugh more because he couldn't hear anything. What a silly boy.
